A 71 year old male was doing yard work. He began working around 9 am EST and collapsed due to heat around noon EST. The gentleman had previous heart conditions and suffered a heart attach, however heat was a contributing factor.

Wider weather episode

A period of hot and humid weather settled over the middle Ohio River Valley during the middle of July. Temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s combined with dew points in the mid to upper 70s led to heat index values in the upper 90s and lower 100s.
