What EF0 means. On the Enhanced Fujita scale, EF0 is light damage: shingles and siding peeled, gutters torn, branches broken, consistent with estimated gusts of 65–85 mph. The rating comes from a survey of the worst damage after the storm, not from a wind measurement, so it says as much about what the tornado hit as about how strong it was.

Several reports and photos received through media of tornado just east of Leeville. Lack of access and no discernible damage prevented the NWS from assigning an EF scale rating.

An upper level disturbance moving across the region combined with a weak surface boundary to produce isolated severe thunderstorms and a couple of tornadoes along the southeast Louisiana coast.

Began near Leeville (29.2705, -90.1965).
