The Oconee County 911 center reported large trees and power lines blown down near the intersection of Watson Springs Road and Jerusalem Road.

A series of short waves associated with a large, persistent, upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. produced several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms across north and central Georgia. Heavy rain resulted in a few reports of flash flooding.
