The Wilkes County 911 center reported trees blown down from Bartram Trace Road near Highway 44 to Sharon Road south of Washington and Hill Street in Washington.

Wider weather episode

A series of short waves associated with a large, persistent, upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. produced several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms across north and central Georgia. Heavy rain resulted in a few reports of flash flooding.
