Roofs were reportedly blown off of two buildings on Circle Drive.

Warm and unstable air was anchored across the area. A weak surface boundary wavered in the vicinity and this in conjunction with the Piedmont Trough produced scattered evening thunderstorms. A couple of the thunderstorms produced damaging downbursts.
