The North Pelican Wildfire was started by lightning on 08/10/17 around 11:00 AM PDT. As of 09/01/17 at 03:30 AM PDT, the fire covered 1800 acres and was 18 percent contained. 2.6 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts.
