The Monroe County Sheriffs Office reported U.S. Highway One northbound lanes flooded due to heavy rain. A nearby Weather Underground mesonet station reported 2.74 inches of rainfall.

Wider weather episode

Heavy rainfall in the two and a half to three inch range produced local flooding of the Overseas Highway in the Rock Harbor vicinity.
