The Greene County 911 center reported trees blown down along a line from around the intersection of Bethany Road and Old Bethany Road near Siloam, to around the intersection of Village Main Street and Founders Row in Reynolds Plantation.

Wider weather episode

Strong daytime heating and a very moist air mass resulted in a moderately unstable atmosphere during the afternoon and early evening. Scattered severe thunderstorms produced several reports of damaging wind gusts across central and north Georgia.
