The Macon County 911 center reported a tree blown down onto the roadway on McKenzie Road near Highway 26.

Strong daytime heating and a very moist air mass resulted in a moderately unstable atmosphere during the afternoon and early evening. Scattered severe thunderstorms produced several reports of damaging wind gusts across central and north Georgia.
