Several trees and large limbs were downed on the southwest side of Higgins Lake, extending up to near Roscommon.
Wider weather episode
Thunderstorms developed west of the area, ahead of an incoming cold front, then moved across northern Michigan. Some storms became severe, producing mostly damaging winds.
