Strong Santa Ana winds impacted the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles county. The RAWS sensor at Boney Mountain reported wind gusts between 64 and 75 MPH.
The wider storm
The first significant Santa Ana wind event of the season impacted sections of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Northeasterly wind gusts between 60 and 75 MPH were reported.
