Strong Santa Ana winds impacted the coastal valleys of Ventura county. The RAWS sensor at South Mountain reported wind gusts between 61 and 76 MPH.
The wider storm
The first significant Santa Ana wind event of the season impacted sections of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Northeasterly wind gusts between 60 and 75 MPH were reported.
