A thunderstorm produced a wind gust of 60 MPH at the Sedona Airport. Heavy rain (0.89 in under an hour) dropped the visibility down to half a mile.
Wider weather episode
Moisture increased over northern Arizona leading to more widespread thunderstorms with heavy rain. The activity lasted well into the night. A flash flood watch was in effect for the area.
