The cooperative observer at Fairfield reported six inches of new snow and a spotter near Blaine reported seven inches.

Wider weather episode

The second of a pair of powerful storms hit the mountains of Southwest Idaho leaving the area with another seven to twelve inches of snow in addition to the heavy snow from the previous days event.
