Event narrative

The Macon County 911 center reported trees and power lines blown down from around Drayton Road to around the intersection of Highway 90 and Cedar Valley Road.

Wider weather episode

Isolated severe thunderstorms occurred in central Georgia along a warm front lifting north across the region associated with the remains of a tropical system to the west of the state. Late in the evening, gradient winds associated with the former tropical system produced isolated reports of downed trees in extreme northwest Georgia.
