Rockhouse RAWS recorded sustained winds up to 45 mph with gusts up to 74 mph.
Wider weather episode
A strong low pressure system moved up from the southwest into Vancouver Island. The front associated with this system brought strong winds along the coast and post-frontal thunderstorms which produced hail and a water spout.
