Light freezing drizzle with temperatures in the upper 20s created difficult travel conditions. A glaze of ice on roads played a part in numerous accidents across the region. A 25 year old man was killed in an accident near US 6 and county road 25 before 10 am.

Light freezing drizzle created slick roadways during the morning hours of January 24th. Numerous accidents were reported, with one fatality in Elkhart County.
