Between 3 and 5 inches of snow fell on top of 0.1 to 0.2 inches of ice accumulation across the county.

A sharp cold front and a deep low pressure system brought widespread precipitation to southern Indiana January 12. As temperatures dropped from the 40s and 50s into the 30s and 20s, rain changed over to freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Snow amounts ranged from 1 to 5 inches, which fell on top a glaze to 1/4 inch of ice. Travel was severely impacted with widespread school and business closures.
