A rotating wall cloud with a funnel cloud was reported by a trained spotter, viewed just to the southwest of Loma Rica. No contact with the ground was observed. Pea size hail was also reported with this storm.

Heavy snow impacted travel across the mountains of northern interior California. Thunderstorms brought a funnel cloud and small hail.
