A spotter in Tennant reported 12.0 inches of snow in 24 hours ending at 01/1730 PST. The timing of the snowfall was unknown. The same spotter reported 14.0 inches of snow in 48 hours ending at 02/0742 PST.

The wider storm

A series of short waves brought showers to northern California. A cold air mass was already in place, so snow fell at much lower elevations than normal for this time of year.
