Heavy snow fell in Marinette County.
Wider weather episode
A low pressure system that passed through southern Wisconsin brought heavy snow to the northwest part of the state, mixed precipitation across central and northeast Wisconsin, and mainly rain farther to the southeast. Colder air that pushed in behind the storm caused wet roads to become ice-covered during the evening hours. The highest snowfall amounts were across north-central Wisconsin where 6 to 10 inches fell.
