Numerous trees and power lines were reported to be knocked down on Northwest 80th Avenue.

Wider weather episode

A squall line developed ahead of a cold front and moved south through the Nature Coast and Central Florida during the afternoon and early evening of the 7th. Some of the stronger thunderstorms produced damaging wind gusts.
