The Telfair County Emergency Manager reported numerous trees and power lines blown down from McCrae to Scotland, including on Oak Street near the McCrae County Courthouse and around the intersection of Highway 149 and Old Scotland Road.

A strong cold front associated with a deep upper-level low swept across the region. Moderate instability and strong mid-level winds combined to produce scattered severe thunderstorms across portions of central and east Georgia.
