Event narrative

A foot of water was reported to be flowing across Highway 120 around 5 miles south of Meeteetse.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure moved northward into Wyoming with copious amounts of moisture. This spawned thunderstorms that brought heavy rain to many areas. Along Highway 120 to the south of Meeteetse, the fire department reported a foot of water across the road for a time.
