Public weather station reported a 46 knot wind gust from a thunderstorm.

Ahead of a cold front a line of strong to severe thunderstorms extended from Virginia down through Central North Carolina, Georgia and Florida early on the evening of April 15th. By late evening as the cold front moved closer into the early morning of April 16th this line of thunderstorms moved over our coastal waters, producing strong winds.
