A wind gust of 38 knots from the west-northwest was measured at Pulaski Shoal Light.

Wider weather episode

A squall line in advance of an east-ward moving cold front in the southeast Gulf of Mexico swept through the Florida Keys. The squall line produced widespread gale-force wind gusts in as it moved from Dry Tortugas National Park during the late afternoon hours of April 15th, to Key West after sunset, and later through the upper Keys within two hours.
