Slow moving thunderstorms caused heavy rain in and around La Pine, in Deschutes county. Rain fall of up to 1.3 inches occurred with ponding of water on driveways and property due to poor drainage of relatively flat ground. Small hail occurred, piling to a depth of 1 inch, 4 miles SW of La Pine causing standing water.

Wider weather episode

Slow moving thunderstorms produced heavy rain over portions of southern Deschutes county. Small hail also occurred with some of these storms.
