Event narrative

Multiple residences and structures in the Orchard Homes area, including those along Tower Street and Kehrwald Drive experienced flood damage. Flooding began the end of April 2018 and continued through June 12. The event altered the river channel to the extent flooding occurred well below the established flood stage all way through June 12 and again with a basin rain event on June 18-26.

Wider weather episode

After flooding much of the month of May 2018, the Clark Fork River continued to exceeded flood stage in early June 2018.
