A trained spotter reported a funnel cloud 8 miles SE of Meeteetse.

The wider storm

A shortwave trough moved across Wyoming and brought severe weather to northern portions of the state. There was a decent amount of shear with the system. As a result several funnel clouds were spotted. No tornadoes touched down however. Large hail also fell in many locations, including a maximum size of 1.50 inches near Ten Sleep.

Began near Meeteetse (44.0700, -108.7700).
