The Sumter County 911 center reported a tree blown down along Highway 308 near the Israel Farm Supply north of Smithville.

A persistent, weak upper-level low combined with ample moisture and strong afternoon heating resulted in scattered thunderstorms each afternoon and evening. Isolated reports of damaging thunderstorm wind gusts were received each day.
