A waterspout was observed a waterspout north of Plantation Key. The appearance of the waterspout was skinny and vertical.

In spite of lacking deep moisture, ideal wind conditions allowed for the development of mature cloud lines throughout the Lower, Middle and Upper Florida Keys. Numerous waterspouts developed primarily in the nearshore Florida Bay and Gulf of Mexico waters.
