Four to six inches of wet snow was observed in and around Agate. Strong winds to 40 mph created near-blizzard conditions from blowing snow.

Wider weather episode

A vigorous late season winter storm brought heavy wet snow and blowing snow from strong winds. Near-blizzard conditions were frequently observed, with several highways closed, including Interstate 80 from the Wyoming border to east of Sidney.
