Heavy rain from thunderstorms produced minor flooding across Colorado Highway 184 and 27.8 road. Nearby CoCoRaHS rainfall reports ranged from 0.70 to 0.90 of an inch.

Wider weather episode

Subtropical moisture trapped underneath a ridge of high pressure produced some thunderstorms with heavy rainfall in Archuleta and Montezuma counties. Debris flows and minor road flooding occurred as a result.
