County comms and the public reported numerous trees blown down in the area around Fox Mountain Rd, Smith Dairy Rd, and Huntview Ln.

Scattered clusters of thunderstorms developed during the afternoon across the mountains and foothills of North Carolina and moved southeast. Some of the storms produced damaging wind gusts across the southern foothills.
