Winds estimated at 70 mph downed numerous trees throughout the county. Two mobile homes were completely destroyed by falling trees.

Numerous instances of wind damage occurred across south central and southwest Alabama during the late afternoon and evening of June 28th as a derecho moved from north to south across most of the state of Alabama.
