The twitter feed of a local TV station featured a photograph from a member of the public appearing to be a funnel cloud near Priest River. Time estimated from radar.

Wider weather episode

During the afternoon of July 28th a member of the public photographed a long narrow rope-like funnel cloud near Priest River. It is unknown whether the funnel actually touched down with the lower portion of the distant funnel cloud hidden by trees in the photo. Outreach to local spotters and law enforcement yielded no evidence of damage. Several weak pulse type thunderstorms were noted in the area on radar during the afternoon. No evidence of rotation was detected in any of these storms.
