Our Cooperative Observer reported 3.10 inches of rain in Redrock and a report from the public had 3.50 inches.

Wider weather episode

Deep Gulf of Mexico moisture continued to stream into the region on southeast flow. Surface dew points were into the lower 60s over much of southern New Mexico and combined with a weak upper level disturbance to produce very heavy rainfall over the Redrock area the morning of July 10th.
