The last of several January storms brought high winds and heavy snow to sections of Central and Southern California. Across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, strong southeasterly winds gusting to 65 mph knocked down trees and power lines across the area. In the mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles counties, significant winter storm conditions were reported due to the combination of snowfall and gusty southeasterly winds.
