The Bryan County 911 Call Center reported two trees down in Richmond Hill. One small tree fell on a car in the Richmond Hill Library parking lot. The second tree was uprooted in the White Oak Village subdivision.

A mid-level shortwave rounded the southern edge of low pressure centered over the Carolinas and encountered a highly unstable environment across Southeast Georgia, leading to strong/severe thunderstorms during afternoon hours.
