Event narrative

Up to four inches of rain fell in a short amount of time causing flash flooding. Several roads were flooded and numerous creeks were out of their banks in the southeastern portions of Osage County.

Storms moved across portions of central Missouri with heavy rainfall. There were a few reports of flash flooding due to the heavy rain.
