Swells from Hurricane Walaka generated surf of 6 to 12 feet along the south- and west-facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, and Oahu; 5 to 8 feet along the south-facing shores of Molokai, Lanai, and Maui; and 6 to 10 feet along the west-facing shores of the Big Island of Hawaii. No significant injuries or property damage were reported.
