Several trees were downed in Harbor Springs, and a couple of homes were damaged by fallen trees.
Wider weather episode
A line of strong thunderstorms crossed northern Michigan in the early morning hours. Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph were common in eastern upper and far northern lower Michigan, but severe-criteria winds were only seen in a few spots.
