Event narrative

A gust front struck two structures, including a local TV station, on the Humboldt County coast causing roofs to be torn off and some additional structural damage. Transmission equipment for the TV station was damaged.

Wider weather episode

A heavy snow event hit the upper Trinity County area that impacted transportation in the area. The same storm resulted in a small scale wind event on the Humboldt County Coast.
