A pre-frontal band of showers and storms moved across South Florida during the afternoon hours. Gusty winds accompanied this band as it moved through the region, with the strongest gust across Lake Okeechobee in the early afternoon. A waterspout was reported with this activity as it moved into the local Atlantic waters.
