Strong wind gusts were reported in Barrio Cordillera along Road PR-146 near Escuela Superior Juan Antonio Corretjer.

A strong upper-level jet, which produced divergence aloft, combined with sufficient low-level moisture and local and diurnal effects to produce strong showers and thunderstorms over the Cordillera Central.
