A Southern California Edison Weather Station 4SSW Keene reported a wind gust of 67 mph.

The third of three storms in four days moved through central California on January 9. While this storm did not produce as much rainfall or mountain snow as the previous two systems, strong winds ahead of this storm impacted travel in the Grapevine area in the Kern County Mountains along Interstate 5 and in the south end of the San Joaquin Valley where gusts as high as 70 mph were measured.
