RWIS camera at Turnagain Pass showed 3 to 4 feet snow accumulation over 12 hours.

Social media reports indicated 18 in Bird Creek, in addition to complete whiteout conditions and difficult driving along the Seward Highway.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system in Prince William Sound brought heavy showers through Turnagain Arm that constantly reformed. This caused heavy snowfall along the Seward Highway corridor, including east Turnagain Arm and Turnagain Pass.
