The Hill Fire burned 4,531 acres in Ventura county, near the community of Camarillo. The fire started during a strong Santa Ana wind event. Northeast winds gusting in excess of 60 MPH along with very dry conditions allowed the fire to spread very quickly. During the fire, four structures were destroyed.
