Plainsview ranch observer seventeen miles southeast of Agate reported heavy snowfall measuring 8.0 inches.

Periods of moderate to heavy snow fell across much of the Nebraska Panhandle producing in some locations 6 to 8 inches of snow. Heaviest snowfall amounts reported in Sioux, Morrill and Cheyenne Counties.
