Several locations reported minimum temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees.

Wider weather episode

The cold and dry airmass which built into the area on February 5 and brought sub-freezing temperatures to much of the San Joaquin Valley on February 6 remained over the area with little moderation through the morning of February 7. With clear skies and light winds prevailing, temperatures dropped below the freezing mark again for a few hours during the morning in the San Joaquin Valley.
